The Christmas Spirit has arrived in Westport

Westport's Santa Claus ParadeWestport kicks of the Christmas season starting with the famous Lion’s Club Westport Santa Claus Parade. Bring out your family and friends on November 27th and enjoy the festive floats and of course Santa Claus himself! The parade starts at 2pm and is followed by a party and visit with Santa at St. Edward’s School. Sit on Santa’s knee and share what you would like for Christmas.

If you can’t make it for the Parade in Westport, visit Lyndhurst for their “Lyndhurst Santa Claus Parade”. Taking place November 20th, floats will be lining up on Oake St at 12:30pm but the actual parade does not start until 2PM. After the parade children are welcome to visit with Santa and have Free Candy!

On December 4th enjoy the The annual Christmas Market at Rideau Vista School in Westport from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Spaces are only $15 and vendors are still being accepted. This is a chance to see local talent and buy unique gifts. If you enjoy crafts, baking, cooking, or home grown produce please come out and visit the Christmas market.

Visit Delta’s Lower Beverley Lake Park for their “Celebrating the Season”, running every Saturday evening from November 20th – December 18th. Bundle up for an evening stroll, or wagon ride around the Park to see the trees and buildings all magically lit, with over 45,000 lights. Christmas carols will be playing throughout the park with a Nativity and Dickens corner lit for your pleasure.
