RLHS is a thriving organization. Members plant and maintain municipal gardens and support all manner of horticultural activities in the community. Wednesday, May 2 – RIDEAU LAKES HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY presents Joanna Kowalczyk of Singing Nettle Farm speaking on Designing a Holistic Garden starting at 7:15pm at the Portland Community Hall. All Welcome! Free for members, $5 for guests. Refreshments and conversation start at 6:45, meeting begins at 7:15pm
