Westport OntarioMUSICwestport is back again on Saturday August 17, 2013.

Start the day with the 2nd Annual Voice of the Rideau, All Ages Singing Competition behind the Cove at 10:00am. Festival starts after NOON. Ten bands performing on three stages. Outdoors, pond side at the Cove Country Inn at the corner of Main and Bedford St., AND Artemisia Gallery at 7 Spring St., 11am – 7pm. FREE FREE FREE.

Spring Street between Main and Church closed for Vendors and Street Sale. Bring a Lawn Chair.

VOICE OF THE RIDEAU Singing Competition July 28

Join the Voice of the Rideau Singing Competition and get a chance to perform during MUSICwestport!

Auditions will occur at North Crosby Community Centre, 875 Eighth Concession Rd, Westport on Saturday, July 28, 2012 between 11:00 am and 4 pm, depending on the amount of entries received.

The top scoring contestants in each of the two groups will compete in the finals on Saturday, August 18 at the Cove Inn, Westport during MUSICwestport.

Local Guitar Hero/Country Singer and Sideman, Shawn McCullough returns with his new CD “THIS IS ME” and guess what, he’s having his release here at The Cove! With John Wilberforce, Roch Lafleur and Mark Lemieux and Wade Foster, it will surely be a night of quality tunesmithing and entertainment. This night will also be a Westport Outdoors Association Fundraiser in memory of Doc Halliday.

The Westport Arts Council Presents the 5th Annual Music Festival in Westport Ontario. This year’s festival will be held Saturday August 13, 2011.

With three outdoor stages a The Cove, SOHO’s, and A Victorian Reflection you can enjoy a day full of music with some of the area’s most exciting talent.

Free Adminssion. Make sure you bring and chair and be prepared for rain or shine. If you wish to see “Miss Emily” at the Cove after-hours the cover is $5.00 and starts at 8pm.

If you want an endless day of fun and music, you won’t want to miss MusicWestport on Saturday, Aug. 15, starting at noon in Westport. There will be three outdoor stages with six superb performers.

Bring a chair; bring a hat. The show will go on rain or shine. And it’s free.

After-hours shows, at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., will go on at The Cove, corner of Main and Bedford. There will be a $5 cover charge.
