Canada Day in Westport!

Lions Club Beach Canada Day

There is only one place to be during Canada Day and that is Westport! We are proud to be Canadian and we like to show it in a big way. All the fun will start at 1pm with ceremonies starting at the “Rideau District Museum”. Following will be a festive bicycle parade for the kids. Everyone proudly wearing their red and white will be riding their bikes or on foot throughout the streets of downtown Westport.

After the parade, the party moves to the Lions Club Beach and will remain there until the closing fireworks ceremony. Throughout the afternoon enjoy air castles, food and entertainment. The fireworks show at the beach starting at dusk is nothing short of spectacular.

There will be a free shuttle bus leaving from St. Edwards School and the Westport Community Centre as there is no parking at the beach. All are welcome and the cost is free.
